Privacy policy
We collect what we need to take your order, ship it, and run our ads. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share some data with advertising platforms - you can opt out below.
What we collect
You give us: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you enter one, and what you ordered. Also anything you write to us in an email.
Your payment details: handled by our payment providers. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages you viewed, what you clicked, how you got here, and cookie identifiers.
Why we use it
To process and ship your order, send order and shipping emails, answer your support emails, prevent fraud, understand which products and ads work, and show you ads for our products.
Who we share it with
- Shopify, which hosts this store.
- Payment providers, to charge you.
- Fulfillment and supplier partners, including partners located outside the United States, so they can ship your order. They get what they need to ship - name, address, and the item - and nothing more.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. This can include a hashed version of your email and information about what you viewed or bought.
- Legal, if we are required by law.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Advertising, cookies and tracking
We use cookies and tracking pixels - including the Meta Pixel and Google tags - to measure our ads and to show you our products after you visit. Under California law, sharing data with advertising platforms this way may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising.
You can opt out by emailing help@northbaymarket.com, by using the cookie or privacy controls on this site, or through your browser and device ad settings. Blocking cookies may break parts of the checkout.
Your rights
Depending on where you live - California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and a growing list of other states - you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sharing it for targeted advertising. Email help@northbaymarket.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you worse for asking.
Children
This store is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email help@northbaymarket.com and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. Marketing data until you ask us to delete it.
Security
We use Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout. No system is perfect, and we cannot promise absolute security.

We will post any changes on this page.
