Filtered Shower Head
Pull the filter out after two weeks and look at it. That is the sales pitch.
- Replaceable filter cartridge inside the handle
- Multiple spray modes on a turn collar
- Pressure-boosting outlet plate for weak lines
- Hand-tightens onto a standard shower arm — no tools, no plumber
Unscrew the old head, screw this one on. Two minutes, by hand. Inside the handle is a replaceable filter cartridge that the water passes through before it reaches you, and the outlet plate narrows the jets so a weak line still feels like a real shower.
The cartridge is the whole argument. Run it for a couple of weeks, then pull it out. Whatever colour it has turned is what used to be landing on your hair.

Questions
How often do I change the cartridge?
Every 2 to 3 months for most households, sooner on very hard water. Replacements are inexpensive.
Do I need tools?
No. It hand-tightens onto a standard US 1/2-inch shower arm.
Will it lower my water pressure?
Usually the opposite. The outlet plate narrows the jets, which most people read as more pressure, not less.
Does it fit a standard hose?
Yes, standard 1/2-inch threading. If your arm is non-standard you will need an adapter, which is not included.
What exactly does the filter remove?
It is a general sediment and impurity cartridge. We do not publish a certified contaminant-removal rating, so we are not going to claim one.
